A legendary ski trip: snow, sun and unforgettable moments

Our adventure started right outside the office door. In the dead of night we loaded up the cars, squeezed in the last bags and set off for the French Alps. Thankfully the drive only took nine hours, and that was entirely thanks to Lukas, Matthias, Camiel and Victor. They steered us bravely over the mountain roads, bend after bend, until the first beautifully snow-capped peaks came into view. From that moment on, everyone knew: this was going to be a good one.

The first few days, we got dumped on with snow. A thick blanket and sometimes poor visibility, but we did not let that stop us. Our iconic VICAR jackets kept us beautifully warm, although they may have given us just a bit too much enthusiasm to dive into après-ski slightly earlier than planned. Who are we to say no to that?

During the final days, the sun finally broke through. The clouds parted and gave us breathtaking, sweeping views over the mountains, the kind of picture you never forget. The perfect closer to a trip we can safely call legendary.

Strengthening bonds and looking back on 2025

This getaway was our well-earned reward for an incredibly successful 2025, and honestly: it exceeded every one of our expectations. We spend a huge amount of time together at the office, and that is exactly why a strong and reliable team is not a detail for us, but the foundation of everything.

We made that bond even stronger out here. From flying down the slopes together to partying wholeheartedly at après-ski in the evenings: we had a fantastic time, and we got to know each other even better outside the walls of the office. Whenever someone had a tough moment on their skis, a colleague was right there. That is exactly what defines us.

If this experience taught us one thing, it is that our team always has each other’s backs, at the office and well beyond. We came back stronger, closer and fully recharged. Ready to hit 2026 at full throttle.
