Hitting Targets with VICAR Agency:a day of focus, fun and clay pigeons

Building trust and focus through challenge
Clay pigeon shooting is so much more than simply hitting targets. It demands rock-solid concentration, a healthy dose of patience and blind trust in your team. Every shot is a moment of pure focus: the clay launches, time seems to stand still for a second, and every eye is locked on the same target. While one person takes aim, the rest create an atmosphere in which everyone feels backed up.
As we took turns aiming, one thing quickly became clear: trust between teammates is everything. Whether you're the one pulling the trigger or the colleague cheering from the sidelines, success is never an individual achievement, it is a team achievement. Much like back at the office, really. This experience reminded us once again how important it is to be able to lean on each other when the pressure rises and the margins narrow.
Wins to celebrate and lessons from our misses
What really stood out that day was how we celebrated every hit and every miss alike. A bullseye was met with loud cheers, while a missed attempt was instantly reframed as a teachable moment, often with a fair share of teasing on top. That dynamic confirmed once again what we've felt for a long time: inside a strong team, every experience, successful or not, fuels growth.
The mutual support, combined with a relaxed and friendly vibe, created an environment in which everyone was encouraged to give it their all. No one had to fear missing the mark, because we knew the team would catch you. Whatever the outcome, we stood behind each other as one team, so that everyone felt valued. And it is with exactly that mindset that we approach our projects too.

From the shooting range to the studio
The parallel with our day-to-day projects was more than coincidence. Just as a clean shot calls for concentration and team back-up, every brand trajectory we build calls for the same mindset. Focus, trust, and the certainty that someone has your back when things get tough.
What we picked up that day between the rounds of clay shooting, we brought straight back to the office. We celebrate wins loudly, we learn from misses without hesitation, and we tease each other just enough to keep the edge sharp.
That is how a team grows: not only through projects, but through moments like these where you get to know each other beyond the meeting room. On to the next challenge, whether it takes place on the shooting field or in the studio.
